According to the Ministry, the purpose of this document is to promote the development of exhibition and fair activities, as well as to support local businesses and promote Kyrgyz goods in foreign markets.
The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov and the director of BiExpo Viktor Linovitsky.
The document envisions deepening cooperation between the public and private sectors in organizing international exhibitions and business events, as well as expanding export opportunities for local producers and strengthening trade and economic ties at the international level.
From June 4 to 6, 2026, the international inter-industry exhibition Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026 will take place at the small arena "Zhashtyk," with representatives expected from the SCO countries, including Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, China, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan.
