A modern veterinary vaccine production plant will be built in the Kyrgyz Republic
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of a project aimed at creating a modern enterprise that will ensure epizootic safety in the country. The head of the department, Erlis Akunbekov, held a meeting with representatives of JSC "Altyn Tamyr," the only company in the country engaged in the production of biopreparations. During the conversation, key aspects of the construction of the new plant were discussed, which will become a strategically important facility for protecting livestock from infectious diseases.

Currently, "Altyn Tamyr" produces about 20 different preparations that meet part of the domestic needs and are exported to neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan. The new plant will significantly improve the quality and volume of the products produced. Minister Akunbekov tasked specialists with accelerating the commissioning of the plant and implementing strict standards for vaccine quality control.

The estimated cost of the project is about 10 million US dollars. Government agencies plan to provide comprehensive support, including preferential loans and special conditions for investors. According to the Minister of Agriculture, the establishment of a full-cycle production will help Kyrgyzstan not only improve the veterinary situation within the country but also significantly strengthen its position in the export market in the region.
