In February, the local market of the Kyrgyz Republic did not follow the global trend of rising prices
In February 2026, there is a 5.1% decrease in meat prices in Kyrgyzstan. This information was reported by representatives of the Ministry of Economy.
At the same time, international markets continue to see an increase in meat product prices. According to FAO data, the average cost of meat has risen by 0.85%, which is linked to high demand in the USA and China.
The Ministry attributes the decrease in prices in Kyrgyzstan to government regulation measures that have helped mitigate overall inflationary pressure in the country.
