The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has become the founder and sole shareholder of the new joint-stock company.
According to the ministry, the function of the new operator is to enhance the accuracy and speed of decision-making in the areas of land use management, environmental monitoring, climate change analysis, mineral resource development, and emergency prevention.
It is planned that the company's infrastructure will develop in the city of Karakol, which, in turn, will create additional opportunities for regional growth and the attraction of new technologies.
The agency emphasizes that this project lays the foundation for the formation of space competence in the country and expands the possibilities for the application of satellite data, including in areas such as agriculture, water resource management, and the digitalization of government processes.
