The Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced that asphalt paving of the Arashan - Chunkurchak road will take place in April of this year.
According to the press service of the ministry, the work on widening the road and preparing the foundation has already been completed on the section from 0 to 22 kilometers. The project is being financed through state capital investments.
It is worth noting that in 2025, culverts were installed on this route, and two bridges were reconstructed.
The Arashan - Chunkurchak road is an important tourist route leading to a ski base and recreation areas. According to ministry representatives, the modernization of this route will significantly enhance road safety and improve conditions for tourists.
