A preferential lending program "Export Contract Financing" is being launched to support exporters.
At a meeting of the Export Development Council, chaired by the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev, issues related to enhancing the country's export potential and supporting local businesses were discussed, as reported by the press service of the cabinet.
"Among the proposed initiatives, a pilot project stands out, which involves partial reimbursement of transportation and logistics costs for exporters, aimed at reducing product prices in international markets. A new credit instrument was also announced — a preferential credit line 'Export Contract Financing', which allows for quick closure of cash gaps and replenishment of working capital using insurance guarantees," the press release states.
The format of the meeting was open for dialogue, allowing business representatives to express their opinions and issues, including customs administration and technical barriers to trade.
As a result of the meeting, relevant authorities were instructed to test the proposed measures. After evaluating their effectiveness, the support mechanisms will be implemented on a permanent basis.
