Discussions about prices in cafes have once again intensified on social media
Users of the Kyrgyz segment of social networks are actively discussing the rising prices of dishes in cafes and restaurants.
One user shared his experience visiting a cafe in Bishkek, where a liter of lemonade cost 698 soms. This price surprised him.

Some commentators suggested an alternative - cooking at home and avoiding visits to cafes to save money. Others noted that high prices may be justified due to the cost of ingredients and labor.
Critics point out that "in a liter of mineral water for 150 soms, only a flavoring additive is added," which raises questions.
It is worth noting that the price increase in food establishments is caused not only by rising food prices and tariffs but also by the government's decision to remove 10-15% from service charges in dining establishments. Thus, the additional costs were simply included in the price of the dishes.
