The rivers of Suusamyr have been replenished with five thousand fry of Issyk-Kul trout

As part of the state program for the restoration of natural resources, employees of the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a fish stocking event in the rivers of Chui region. As a result, five thousand fry of Issyk-Kul trout were released into the tributaries of the Suusamyr and Kokomerin rivers. The choice of the Suusamyr Valley is not accidental — its ecosystem is ideally suited for the successful adaptation of this valuable fish species.

This initiative is an important part of the state strategy for the protection and restoration of the water biological resources of the republic. Experts note that artificial fish stocking is considered one of the most effective methods for the rapid restoration of fish stocks in natural water bodies. These measures not only contribute to improving the ecological situation but also play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of aquatic ecosystems and preserving the biological diversity of the region.

The relevant department emphasizes that the project has significant economic potential. The increase in fish populations in the rivers of Chui region will open new horizons for the development of local fisheries and positively impact the financial well-being of the valley's residents. In the future, it is planned to regularly conduct similar events covering other important water bodies of Kyrgyzstan.

Department specialists will continuously monitor the condition of the released fry. The Ministry of Agriculture is confident that a systematic approach to the reproduction of biological resources will not only restore the former glory of Kyrgyz rivers but also transform the fishing industry into one of the engines of growth for the country's agricultural sector.
