Eggs, Meat, Butter: How Prices Have Changed in Kyrgyzstan and Neighboring Countries

According to monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry on March 25, 2026, there is a moderate increase in prices for certain food products in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the agency's information, an increase in the price of eggs by 1.6 percent, potatoes by 0.7 percent, as well as lamb and beef, which rose in price by 0.5 percent, has been recorded. Refined sunflower oil has increased in price by 1 percent, while the price of onions has decreased by 0.5 percent.

In Kazakhstan, the situation with prices is more noticeable: lamb has increased in price by 12.5 percent, carrots by 10.6 percent, and pasta and beef have risen in price by 3.5 and 3.2 percent, respectively. There is also an increase in prices for milk, eggs, rice, and potatoes, while onions and first-grade wheat flour have decreased in price by 1.5 and 0.8 percent.

As for Russia, there has also been a rise in prices, but it has been less pronounced. Carrots have increased in price by 2 percent, eggs by 1.4 percent, and beef by 0.6 percent. Lamb and sugar have risen in price by 0.5 percent, while sunflower oil, pasta, milk, flour, butter, and rice have also increased in price, albeit slightly.

It should be noted that the monitoring covers key food products, including bread, vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy products, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil.
