The Ministry of Energy proposes to extend the ban on coal exports by another six months.
The Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic has proposed to extend the existing ban on the export of coal by road transport for an additional six months. This issue has been put up for public discussion as part of a new draft resolution of the Cabinet. According to the proposed document, it is planned to prohibit the export of coal from the country via road routes (codes 2701 and 2702 according to the EAEU Customs Code) for a period of six months.
