High-ranking officials participated in the event, including Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, the mayor of the capital Aibek Junushaliev, Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, as well as Vice-Speaker of the Bishkek City Council Zhyldyzbek Abdrayimov, local authorities, and residents of the area.
“The main goal of kindergartens is to nurture and develop the younger generation. Today we can see how successfully this facility has been restored for the city. All necessary conditions for quality and safe preschool education have been created,” the mayor noted at the ceremony.
As part of the event, participants were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the updated kindergarten building and the conditions provided for the children.
The kindergarten was built in 1984 and operated until 1991, after which it was privately owned and used for purposes other than intended. In 2019, with the support of the State Committee for National Security, the building was returned to municipal ownership, and in 2022 it was transferred to the balance of the mayor's office, initially designed for 140 places.
According to the results of the major renovation and the implementation of the latest technologies, the capacity of the kindergarten has increased to 246 places. The complete reconstruction of the two-story building with an area of 1488.4 sq. m was completed, the adjacent territories were improved, and six playgrounds were created for the safe recreation of children.
The project was implemented by the Capital Construction Department of the Bishkek mayor's office as part of the preschool education development program, and the contractor was the company OsOO "Rim and Co."
