According to local authorities, the city hall, along with the relevant services, is checking how the demolition of illegal structures located in the protection zone of the Kyr-Aryk (Uvam) canal is proceeding. This area includes such objects as a public bathhouse, restaurants, a pharmacy, retail outlets, and residential houses. Since these buildings are in the protection zone, municipal representatives held a meeting with their owners, informing them that compensation would be provided in the form of land exchange.
A recreational area (a leisure park) is planned to be created on the freed land.
Among the demolished structures is the property of Kalmat Anapiyayev, the brother of the late Almanbet Anapiyayev. Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev noted that the owners would be offered an equivalent plot of land as a replacement, and compensation would also be provided.
The demolished object occupies a plot of 8 acres. According to the terms of the exchange, the relevant services must provide a land plot of 10 acres. Kalmat Anapiyayev noted that all documents related to this object had already been submitted to the appropriate municipal structures.
According to current legislation, the width of the water protection zone of canals ranges from 6 to 50 meters on each side. For example, for the Moyun, Zhany-Aryk, and Joo-Bas canals, this width is 6 meters, while the Ak-Buura River has a width of 50 meters. The water protection zone of the Uvam canal is 30 meters on both sides.

During the events in October 2020, he visited the office of the government’s authorized representative in the Osh region. Later, the powers of the representative in the region began to be carried out by Bayysh Yusupov.
