According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, a citizen named G.M., also known as "Musa," has become the initiator of an organized crime group that has been actively engaged in extortion from businessmen since 2012. In addition, they commit robberies and armed assaults in the Jalal-Abad, Osh, and Batken regions.

The investigative authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan have initiated a criminal case regarding the creation of a criminal community, which is classified under Article 262 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to available information, this criminal group is also involved in smuggling goods, as well as transporting narcotic substances and stolen vehicles through the Batken region into Tajikistan.
During operational activities in Bishkek, G.M. ("Musa"), born in 1977, was detained. Upon inspection, he was found to have:

- one homemade revolver with six cartridges;

- a plastic bag with a white powder, presumably a narcotic substance.

The detainee had previously been convicted for robbery, intentional infliction of serious harm, and extortion.

During the investigation, other members of the criminal group were detained in the Osh region:

— K.Y., born in 1984, who also had convictions for armed assaults and robbery. During a search, he was found to have: an F-1 grenade and 8 grams of plant-based narcotics.

— O.A., born in 1992, previously convicted for kidnapping, causing harm, and property damage. He had seized: a sawed-off shotgun, 4 grams of hashish, and a knuckle duster.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the individuals mentioned were connected to the criminal group of Kamchy Kolbaev and maintained contact with a criminal authority named Kadyirbek Dosonov, known as "Dzhengo." They actively spread thieving ideology and were characterized by brutality.

Further investigation revealed that the detainees may be involved in the murder and armed assault on a businessman in Batken in 2014. In November of that year, the criminals broke into a house, where, threatening with weapons, they inflicted knife wounds on two citizens, A.Sh. and A.Sh., before fleeing.

The victims were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Batken regional hospital; however, one of the victims, citizen A.Sh., died from the injuries sustained.

Currently, a preventive measure in the form of detention has been applied to the detainees, and investigative actions are ongoing.
