At the IV People's Kurultai, President Sadyr Japarov stated the need to bring up the issue of a quota for migrants, allowing them to participate in the elections for deputies, for discussion in parliament.
He noted that most of the issues raised, from 70 to 80 percent, will be implemented, although it will take time and occur gradually over the coming years.
The head of state also emphasized that many of the issues raised concern the construction of infrastructure, such as schools and kindergartens, as well as providing the population with clean drinking water. All these projects are in the process of being implemented.
“The issue of a quota for migrants to participate in elections has also been raised. We will initiate its consideration in parliament,” Japarov added.
