In the village of Suzak, located in the Jalal-Abad region, a tragic event occurred: 28-year-old Takmina Rustamzhan kyzy became a victim of her ex-husband.

According to information provided by Takmina's relatives, four years have passed since the divorce, and the couple has two children aged 10 and 8. The brother of the deceased recalls with pain how he tried to intervene and save his sister, but it was unsuccessful.

Takmina and her ex-husband, D., married in 2015. According to relatives, their life together was relatively calm for the first three years, but then conflicts began in the family, leading to their separation. Four years ago, the man divorced Takmina and became obligated to pay child support. She lived in a rented apartment in the district center with her sister Sitora.

According to family members, on January 2 of this year, Takmina's ex-husband returned from Russia and visited her. The next day, he inflicted knife wounds on her.

Her sister reported that Takmina had told her about the visit from her ex-husband and his threats. She suggested that her sister temporarily go to stay with relatives, but Takmina refused. On January 3, 2026, D. came again, behaved calmly, and claimed that he loved Takmina and wanted to take her with him to Russia. Takmina, in turn, replied that she would only leave with the children and had no intention of restoring their relationship. The man suggested leaving the children with his mother, but Takmina argued that her mother-in-law would not be able to care for them. She also stated that their life together was impossible both legally and according to religious norms.

A conflict erupted between them, and her sister witnessed D. attempt to strangle Takmina twice. She intervened to separate them. The third time, when Takmina fell, the man pushed her sister away and lunged at her again, dragging her into the room. The sister tried to help but could not stop him. In despair, she ran outside for help, stopped a passing car, and called for assistance. When they returned with people, they found it was already too late. Relatives called an ambulance and the police. Takmina was covered in blood. Her sister could not believe what had happened, hoping for the best.

According to her, D. had brought a knife with him in advance, leaving the children with his mother before committing the crime.

Takmina's mother, Mukadam Nuraliyeva, was working in Russia at the time. On the day of the tragedy, Takmina contacted her, informing her that her ex-husband wanted to take her to Russia and was causing a scene. After that, the connection was lost. "Four years have passed since the divorce. He hardly paid child support. Even after the divorce, he continued to come and say he would live with her. In Russia, he married and divorced twice. The daughter did not remarry for the sake of the children. That day she said he was demanding she leave with him. I suggested coming to talk, but they quarreled, and the connection was lost. Later, I was informed that Takmina was in a coma, and I urgently left for Kyrgyzstan. It turned out she had already been killed. Let him face punishment. The children suffer the most. Now rumors are spreading that my daughter had another man. This is not true — she lived for her children," shared the mother of the deceased.

According to relatives, Takmina received 11 stab wounds.

As previously reported by the press service of the Jalal-Abad regional police department, on January 3, 2026, a call was received at the Suzak district police station from a resident of the area, born in 1990, who reported that during a conflict he killed his wife, born in 1997.

This incident has been registered in the Unified Register of Crimes of the Suzak district police department under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. A criminal case has been initiated.
