In 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly intensified its efforts to develop the tourism sector. In this context, government agencies held a number of meetings and events, as well as ensured the country's participation in 28 international tourism exhibitions and info tours, which involved tour operators from countries such as Malaysia, Austria, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, Germany, and Japan.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, within the framework of this tourism initiative, 56 events were organized aimed at promoting the country's tourism opportunities.
"As a result of 2025, Kyrgyzstan was recognized as the winner in an international tourism nomination in Russia and received a prestigious tourism award from the publication Russian Travel," the minister added.
