Askhat Alagozov, the press secretary of the president, clarified earlier statements made by Sadyr Japarov regarding the resignation of Kamchybek Tashiev on his Facebook account. He noted that his remarks "were distorted or misunderstood by some people."

Alagozov mentioned that this refers to individuals such as Bekbolot Talgarkbekov, Emilbek Uzakbaev, and others who, using Kamchybek Tashiev's name, approached various people—from deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh to public figures and intellectuals—inciting them to take certain actions and calling for them to "join the side of the general." "These actions contributed to the creation of tension in society, including among high-ranking officials such as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh. Given that my comment was distorted or misunderstood, I find it necessary to clarify," Alagozov added.

Recall that on February 10, it became known about Sadyr Japarov's decision, who, in accordance with Article 70 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, dismissed Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Chairman of the State National Security Committee and Deputy Prime Minister. He was replaced by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State National Security Committee. Japarov's press secretary, Askhat Alagozov, explained this decision by stating that the president acted in the interests of the country, seeking to prevent a split in society and strengthen unity among state structures.

Additionally, an open letter from 75 politicians, both current and former, as well as representatives from culture and healthcare, was previously published, requesting early elections. The president's administration has not yet commented on this appeal.
