As a result of an inspection conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Jumgal district in the Naryn region, cases of illegal allocation of land plots in the Chayek rural municipality were discovered.
In particular, officials holding responsible positions in the rural municipality, during the period from 2022 to 2023, misused their official powers and ignored the interests of the service by granting land plots to citizens without submitted applications and without adhering to the queue, with a total area of 2.35 hectares, located within the settlement. This was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Abuse of official position"). Investigative actions are underway.
