The fact of abuse of office was established in the Chui region, concerning the illegal registration of a vehicle. In 2023, two citizens, identified as S.A. and J.R., imported a car of the brand "Lexus RX 330," which was declared as a set of spare parts.
To illegally register the vehicle and subsequently sell it, they acquired a registration certificate for the same model car that had previously been damaged in a traffic accident and belonged to citizen N.I. Additionally, counterfeit notarial documents were produced. This information was provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
Having conspired with an employee of the State Enterprise UNAA, J.B., the perpetrators presented fake documents, which allowed them to illegally alter the data in the database, including VIN codes, for a monetary reward of 1,100 US dollars. As a result of these actions, the car was unlawfully registered and sold to an unsuspecting buyer for 7,000 US dollars.
In addition, a scheme to evade customs duties was implemented, causing damage to the state, the amount of which is currently being determined.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 (Abuse of Office) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, J.B., an employee of the State Enterprise UNAA, and J.R. have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, while investigative actions continue.
