The investigation revealed that as a result of the unlawful actions of the officials, a land plot of 8000 square meters, intended for social needs, was removed from municipal ownership and transferred to private individuals.

According to the results of the inspection, a criminal case was initiated under Article 337 "Abuse of Office" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Operational measures were carried out by officers of the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in conjunction with the investigative department of the Osh City Police.
During the investigation, the following individuals were detained:
- the deputy director of the Osh branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, born in 1978;
- the former head of the municipal property management of the Osh City Hall, born in 1968.
The suspects have been placed in custody as a preventive measure.
According to an independent assessment conducted by the organization "Land Reforms South," the value of the land plot amounted to 200 million soms. The plot has been returned to the balance of the municipal property management of the Osh City Hall.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that investigative actions are ongoing, and other individuals involved in the commission of this crime are being identified.
