On March 25, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, held a meeting with Philippe Amon, who serves as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Swiss company SICPA SA. This information was provided by the administration of the head of state.

The agenda included issues related to the implementation of joint initiatives, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the exchange of experiences to enhance the effectiveness of public administration and strengthen the economic security of the country.

The President emphasized that the effective use of natural resources, ensuring transparency, and implementing modern approaches in key sectors of the economy remain crucial aspects of state policy.

In this context, it was noted that the consistent development of the mining sector, its openness, attracting investments, and strengthening cooperation with reliable partners are of paramount importance.

During the meeting, Philippe Amon demonstrated modern technological solutions aimed at strengthening the economic and digital sovereignty of the state, increasing the transparency of economic processes, and optimizing public administration.

Possibilities for increasing budget revenues through improved tax administration, reducing the shadow economy, and enhancing control over the movement of goods were also discussed.

It was emphasized that the implementation of such solutions contributes to strengthening economic security and combating illegal activities, as well as increasing the efficiency of state institutions.

At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in further expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects.

It should be noted that SICPA SA is one of the leading Swiss companies engaged in the development of technologies for monitoring and control, which helps combat smuggling and counterfeit products, as well as prevent tax evasion.
