Folk Legends: The Village of Sasyk-Bulak, Named After the Spring with Oily Water
The village of Sasyk-Bulak, founded in 1931, is located in the Bekmoldo rural district of the Talas region. This settlement arose on the territory of the former collective farm Shumkar-Uya, situated along the river "Üch-Koshoy." It is 54 km from the district center, the village of Kök-Oy, and 150 km from the railway station of Maymak. The main occupations of the local residents include agriculture and animal husbandry.
