He noted that the new division will employ at least 10 staff members who will focus on the implementation and development of digital technologies in the healthcare sector.
According to Dosmambetov, the previous meeting with the Minister of Digitalization resulted in the agreement on new areas of work. The implementation of the relevant projects is expected to begin in 2026-2027.
Among the planned initiatives is the integration of telemedicine and electronic timekeeping into a unified system. The head of the Ministry of Health pointed out that many processes in healthcare are still not digitized, which leads to systemic problems.
He cited the oncology service as an example, where there is no unified registry of cancer patients. This creates difficulties in obtaining complete information about disease detection, stages, and diagnostic methods.
Dosmambetov emphasized that the creation of digital registries and accounting systems will help streamline operations in the industry and improve the quality of medical services.
