- smoking, responsible for approximately 30% of all types of cancer;
- dietary habits — 35%;
- infectious agents — 10%;
- occupational carcinogens — 4-5%;
- ionizing radiation — 4-5%;
- ultraviolet radiation — 2-3%;
- alcohol consumption — 2-3%;
- air pollution — 1-2%;
- reproductive factors — 4-5%;
- insufficient physical activity — 4-5%;
- hormonal factors — 2-3%.
