According to Kairylbekova, the medical facility uses a septic system and is located near School No. 9 in the very center of the city.
“Waste from the septic tank is discharged into a bio-pond, which is located near the new building of Zhashtyk. About 500 families live in this area, using water from wells at a depth of 6 meters. This poses a serious threat to the health of the residents,” she noted.
In this regard, the deputy suggested discussing the possibility of relocating the tuberculosis hospital to another location.
