At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on February 5, Deputy Medina Kairylbekova raised the issue of the shortage of medicines in the rural health posts (FAP) of remote areas in Kyrgyzstan.

She noted that in many remote settlements, residents face difficulties due to a lack of medications, which forces them to travel significant distances to reach the nearest pharmacies.

In Kairylbekova's opinion, conditions should be created to allow FAPs to provide essential life-saving medications. She believes this would significantly improve access to medical care for the rural population.

The deputy emphasized that this problem requires a comprehensive approach, which should include organizing stable supplies of medications and developing mechanisms to ensure remote areas have the necessary medicines.
