In response to the growing need for vital medications, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has decided to optimize the operations of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia." This decision came as a result of a working meeting between the Minister of Health and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.
To ensure stable supplies of medications, which is especially relevant under the current healthcare system, a comprehensive approach and collaboration of efforts are required. In this regard, additional financial measures are planned to support the state enterprise, as well as improvements in the mechanisms for purchasing medications.
It should be noted that the current market structure, where up to 95% of medications are imported from abroad, poses a significant risk.
In response to this, the government has proposed financial instruments to support local pharmaceutical companies, including credit programs through the State Development Bank aimed at developing medication production within the country.
