During the discussion, issues were raised regarding the need to establish a continuous supply of essential medications to the country. The importance of eliminating bureaucratic barriers and reducing the time and queues associated with the registration of drugs from the list of essential medications was emphasized.
The Acting Minister instructed to launch a unified electronic platform within two months, which will contain up-to-date information on the availability of medications and the needs of the healthcare system in the republic.
Considering the possible limitations of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy" regarding the full and uninterrupted provision of medications and in order to prevent shortages at the beginning of 2026, the discussion included granting medical institutions the right to independently conduct tenders and purchase necessary medications.
In addition, a decision was made to organize working meetings with representatives of the private pharmaceutical sector to develop comprehensive and sustainable solutions in the field of medication provision.
