At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Ismanali Joroev emphasized the need to involve psychologists in oncology institutions for professional communication with patients about their diagnoses. According to the deputy, doctors often immediately inform patients about their illness, which leads to a state of shock and leaves them alone with a difficult situation.

Joroev believes that the presence of psychologists could significantly help patients overcome their emotional difficulties.

Health Minister Kanibek Dosmambetov supported the deputy's initiative, noting that the Ministry of Health is ready to consider the introduction of psychologists in oncology hospitals.

Additionally, the deputy proposed the creation of rehabilitation centers for children with cerebral palsy and autism in the regions. He pointed out that many families from rural areas have to move to cities for 2-3 years to rent housing and provide medical care for their children. "It is necessary to organize such centers in the regions," he added.

The Health Minister responded that there are already rehabilitation centers for children with cerebral palsy in Bishkek and Osh, but there is a shortage of specialists. He also mentioned that a salary increase for medical workers is planned for April 1, which should positively impact the situation.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the Prime Minister had previously instructed the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Labor regarding the construction of new rehabilitation centers.
