The veterinary service is developing an AIS for the registration and certification of drugs

Work is underway in Kyrgyzstan to create an automated information system (AIS) for the "Registration and Certification of Veterinary Medicines" by the Veterinary Service, Livestock Development, Pastures, and Feed. This project is part of a broader initiative to digitize the agro-industrial sector.

According to information provided by the veterinary service, the main task of the AIS is to fully automate the process—from receiving applications for the registration of veterinary drugs to issuing electronic certificates. This is expected to increase transparency, improve quality, and expedite the provision of public services.

Key stages to be automated include:

— Receiving applications in digital form;

— Preliminary verification of attached documents;

— Payment for services via QR code;

— Sending electronic applications to laboratories and receiving protocols with an electronic digital signature (EDS);

— Decision-making by the director of the Center in electronic format;

— Creation of an electronic certificate with a QR code;

— Maintaining a register of registered medicines;

— Launching a module for search and analytics.

The system guarantees the transition of all service stages to an electronic format. Applicants will be able to submit documents online using EDS, track the status of their applications in real time, and receive up-to-date information about the process. Responses will be automatically generated and sent by the Center.

The implementation of this system will ensure the creation of a unified mechanism for electronic document flow between applicants, laboratories, and the Center. The AIS will also be integrated with other state information systems, which will allow for expanded functionality in the future.

This system represents a modern and reliable solution for managing veterinary safety in the Kyrgyz Republic.
