Kubanychbekov also noted that the project developed by Turkish specialists has stalled at the third stage. "If the system had been implemented, it would have helped eliminate corrupt practices and ensure the delivery of medications as prescribed," he added.
- The process of preparing for the implementation of the drug tracking system started in 2018. In March 2023, the first stage was initiated. According to the latest data, 1955 pharmacies and 227 medical institutions are participating in the traceability system.
- In December, the Ministry of Health assured that the implementation of the drug traceability system in Kyrgyzstan would be completed by the end of January 2026.
