



In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the International Medical Forum dedicated to modern approaches in the treatment of cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases has commenced. The event also features the scientific and practical conference "Mirrahimov Readings." Representatives from the health ministries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries, as well as international experts, including specialists from the World Health Organization (WHO), are participating in the forum.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, opened the forum with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of this event as a platform for discussing modern treatment methods and the implementation of innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence in the field of medicine.

According to Baisalov, the program aims to reduce premature mortality, improve preventive measures, as well as to form a patient-centered model of medical care and implement digital analytical tools in clinical practice.
The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, noted that cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases pose a serious challenge to healthcare systems worldwide. In Kyrgyzstan, more than half of all mortality cases are related to cardiovascular diseases, and combined with non-communicable diseases, this figure reaches about 80%.

The following events are taking place within the program:
- the first congress of interventional radiologists of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- discussion on the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in medicine;
- international sessions and master classes on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases;
- signing of memorandums of cooperation between the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy and leading medical centers in Russia and Kazakhstan;
- the 8th conference of the SCO Hospital Alliance.
