After Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle were found dead in their home in Los Angeles, their son Nick was arrested. This information was reported by the "Russian service of the BBC," citing data from the Los Angeles police.
The bodies of the Reiners were discovered on December 14, Sunday, and law enforcement is treating the incident as a possible homicide.
A representative of the Los Angeles police confirmed that Nick Reiner was "arrested on suspicion of murder."
According to the latest information from the police, Nick will remain in custody without the possibility of bail, although it was previously expected that the bail would be set at $4 million.
Law enforcement also noted that they cannot disclose additional details, including information about a possible search of the house.
Reports indicate that the family's youngest daughter, Romy Reiner, was the one who discovered her parents' bodies with multiple stab wounds.
As of now, the official cause of their deaths has not been released.

According to the LASD inmate information center, Nick, who is 32 years old, is charged with a felony. His arrest occurred on Sunday at 9:15 PM local time, and the official charges were filed on Monday at 5:04 AM.Nick Reiner is the middle child of Rob and Michelle.
He worked as a screenwriter and became known for collaborating with his father on the film "Being Charlie."
According to him, the plot about a teenager struggling with addiction is partially based on his own experience with this issue.
