In December, the Supreme Court of Russia confirmed Polina Lurye's ownership of the acquired property, which was sold by Larisa Dolina under the pressure of fraudsters.
The court also returned the case regarding Dolina's forced eviction for a new review in the appellate instance.
The sale of the apartment by Larisa Dolina took place in 2024, when she was under the influence of scammers. Polina Lurye, the 34-year-old buyer, was unaware of the fraudulent scheme.
Initially, the court granted Dolina's claims, returning the apartment to her and relieving her of the obligation to refund the buyer's money; however, Lurye was left without housing and finances.
