The lawyer explained that the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek granted the petition of the investigator of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) for the application of a preventive measure in the form of arrest for his client.
According to Barakov, Tenizbay has been detained until February 11, 2026. He is charged with violating the article of the criminal code concerning "inciting racial, ethnic, national, religious, and interregional hostility (hatred) by a group of individuals."
