At the event organized in collaboration with the Administration of the somon, the Citizens' Representative Khural, and the regional federation of camel breeders, more than 20 participants from various aimags gathered, including Dornogovi, Umnugovi, Dundgovi, Bayankhongor, Govi-Altai, and Uvurkhangai.
In the male camel racing category, the camel of Usukhbayar from the somon Bayandalai in the aimag of Umnugovi finished first. The second and third places were taken by camels belonging to Kh.Orgil-Erdene and L.Munguntsogt from the somon Tsogt-Ovoo (Umnugovi).
Dornogovi has established itself as one of the leading aimags in terms of camel population in the country, with a total herd exceeding 50,000. The somon Saikhandulaan ranks among the top five in terms of camel numbers, with over 6,000 of these animals.
