Emomali Rahmon condemned the terrorist attack on the mosque in Pakistan

In his address on February 7, Rahmon expressed condolences to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, as reported by the press service of the Tajik head of state.

“With sincere regret, I ask the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, as well as for a speedy recovery for the injured. We, the Tajiks, firmly condemn this inhumane terrorist act and any manifestations of terrorism, emphasizing the importance of unwavering struggle against this evil,” the message from the President of Tajikistan states.

The terrorist attack occurred after Friday prayers when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at the entrance to the mosque. According to the latest data, 31 people were killed in the attack, and more than 169 were injured. The ISIS group claimed responsibility for this crime.
