
According to the new regulations, migrant children who reach the age of 18 will be required to leave the country within 30 days or obtain their own patent.
Additionally, labor migrants will now be required to pay a fixed advance tax not only for themselves but also for all their dependents residing in Russia.
If a migrant fails to provide information about their income or if the amount is below the regional coefficient of the established minimum living wage, their patent or work permit will be revoked.
It is also proposed to tighten the requirements for foreigners who have received temporary residence permits or residence permits. If they work for less than ten months in a year, such documents will not be issued or may be revoked.
Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin noted at the meeting that "in addition to the two bills already under consideration, there are four more that are in the discussion stage."
