As a result of the incident, one of the two crew members was rescued, while the fate of the second remained unknown by evening. Search operations are ongoing, involving both U.S. representatives and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iranian businessmen have offered a reward of about $50,000 for information on the pilots' whereabouts.

During the search and rescue operation, an A-10 Warthog attack aircraft was attacked. According to CBS News, the pilot managed to eject over the Persian Gulf and was rescued, but the aircraft itself crashed in Kuwait. As a result of the operation, crew members of the helicopter involved in the rescue were also injured.

When asked about the consequences of this incident for negotiations with Iran, Donald Trump replied: "This is war. We are at war."

Israel continues to strike: Prime Minister Netanyahu reported that about 70% of Iran's steel industry capacity has been destroyed. He also announced a new wave of attacks on Tehran, resulting in more than 70 strikes on missile and drone positions in western and central Iran within a day. Strikes also continued against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

In response to Israel's actions, Iran launched three missile salvos with cluster warheads at Israeli territories. Submunitions caused damage in the Tel Aviv area, and an elderly man was injured near Haifa. Additionally, Iranian drones again attacked the Habshan gas complex in Abu Dhabi, leading to a fire and the shutdown of the facility. A desalination plant in Kuwait was also damaged, and an oil refinery in the Mina al-Ahmadi port was attacked for the third time. Emirates Global Aluminium noted that the recovery of its plant could take up to a year.

The price of Brent crude oil fluctuates around $109 per barrel. For the first time since the beginning of the conflict, a trading vessel from a Western country — the French CMA CGM — passed through the Strait of Hormuz. However, as reported by the WSJ, attempts by intermediaries to organize negotiations between the U.S. and Iran have not been successful: Tehran refused to meet in Islamabad, calling the American side's demands unacceptable.
