During the court proceedings, it was revealed that from December 2024 to February 2025, the couple offered a woman, who was in Russia without documents, to sell them her newborn child.
To formalize the transaction, the buyer approached a doctor-gynecologist from a private medical organization, who agreed to include her passport details in the documents of the mother for 150,000 rubles.
According to the investigation, after the documents were processed, the buyer's husband took the boy, and the mother was given a new pair of shoes worth 13,000 rubles as compensation.
Elionora Salomova, a doctor from the clinic, and the baby's mother Maral Avazova were sentenced to 4 years in a general regime colony, while the couple Nadira Ashirova and Kadyrbek Abduvayev received 4 years and 6 months.
The newborn is currently in a foster family.
