Traffic on the road has been restored
After the completion of clearing works, the Bishkek – Osh road has been reopened for traffic. This became possible due to the removal of stones that had fallen from the mountainside the day before. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, traffic is now restored in both directions, and fortunately, no one was injured.
The landslide occurred on the section of the road between the 427th and 451st kilometers, resulting in damage to one vehicle.
The clearing work was carried out by specialists and equipment from DEP No. 38 of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-South".
