It became known that on January 27, law enforcement agencies identified a user with the nickname meder.tagaibekovich who had published posts criticizing the authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and potentially exacerbating the situation in society.
According to the police, the comments on these publications contained calls that could lead to mass riots. In particular, the discussions concerned the closure of private driving schools in Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, the investigative authorities initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which covers mass riots and calls for disobedience to the authorities.
The detained individual turned out to be M. T., born in 1994, who manages the LLC "Driver Training Center." After the arrest, he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. Further investigation is underway.
