According to information provided by the press service of the Sverdlovsk District Police Department, on February 1, a woman filed a complaint with the police. She reported that on the same day, in her home located in the residential area of Lower Ala-Archa, her husband inflicted bodily harm on her while threatening her with a pistol.
In connection with the incident, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 2 (Torture) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers detained a man named K.O., born in 1968. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
A pistol was also seized, which has now been sent for examination.
The investigation is ongoing.
