The incident occurred at an educational institution
A person suspected of a significant theft has been detained in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
On December 30, 2025, a young woman filed a complaint with law enforcement. She reported that on the same day, at one of the universities located on Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, her handbag was stolen from a classroom. Inside were 300 thousand soms, 2 thousand dollars, and an iPhone 15.
A criminal prosecution has been initiated regarding this incident in accordance with Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, the suspect U.E., born in 1993, was detained. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
