Suspicion of forgery of patents and embezzlement
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Sh.U.U., who holds the position of senior inspector in the department for the control of excise goods of the State Tax Service of the Lenin district, was detained. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to information from the committee, the detainee is suspected of corruption and abuse of office. He provided "consulting services" to some accounting firms for issuing patents for commercial activities. Since 2024 until now, he is believed to have earned over 600,000 soms for his services.
The investigation believes that the tax inspector was actually issuing fake patents that were not registered in the unified taxpayer database, and he embezzled the funds he received.
As part of the criminal investigation, Sh.U.U. has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
