The number of road traffic accidents has increased in Kyrgyzstan (chart)

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, over the past year, from 2024 to 2025, there has been a 19% increase in the number of road traffic accidents in Kyrgyzstan.

In total, 8,456 traffic accidents were registered in the country in 2025.

The highest number of accidents occurred in Bishkek, where 4,029 cases were registered. Chui region ranks second with 1,517 incidents, followed by Osh region with 865 and Jalal-Abad region with 742. Issyk-Kul region recorded 423 accidents, Osh had 306, and Batken region had 237. Naryn and Talas regions reported 211 and 126 incidents, respectively.
