As part of the inspection conducted on February 12, workers from the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration examined sewing enterprises and other production areas where foreigners might be employed.
As a result, more than 90 foreign citizens were taken to the police. As clarified by representatives of the press service, these individuals arrived in Kyrgyzstan on visas issued for one company, but were actually working in other organizations. Currently, the issue of their possible deportation from the country is being resolved.
Additionally, during the raid, cases of illegal recruitment and exploitation of foreign workers were discovered. Protocols were drawn up against employers under Article 93 ("Violation of the rules for attracting and using foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic") of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and fines amounting to 65,000 soms were imposed. In total, fines were issued to more than 8 companies.
