
According to information provided by the Pajhwok Afghan News agency, local authorities in Parwan province have destroyed more than 500 musical instruments and related items.

As reported by Mawlavi Maqbul Ahmad Waqas, the head of the relevant department, musical instruments and items used for dancing and other entertainment activities, which the authorities believe do not comply with Sharia norms, were collected over the past year in the central part of the province and its districts.
According to Waqas, the burning of the instruments took place in the Gulghandi area, and representatives of the provincial administration, intelligence agencies, and other competent authorities participated in the event. He also urged residents to refrain from using items that are considered contrary to Sharia law.
