According to the investigation, from 2022 to 2023, when Sydygaliev headed the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Transport, he "organized the systematic collection of monetary funds from subordinate employees" for personal enrichment.
Currently, the deputy minister has been placed in the GKNB detention center.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and individuals involved in this crime in the healthcare sector are being identified.
- The GKNB emphasizes that the fight against corruption remains one of the key areas of its work. All those identified as participants in corrupt offenses, regardless of their position and social status, will be held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
