During the fight against corruption in the healthcare sector, illegal actions committed by Deputy Minister of Health S.R.S. were uncovered, as reported by the press service of the GKNB.
The investigation established that from 2022 to 2023, while serving as the head of the State Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Transport, this official regularly extorted money from his subordinates for personal enrichment.
As a result of the investigative and operational activities conducted within the framework of the initiated criminal case, S.R.S. was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
Further investigative actions are ongoing, aimed at identifying other officials in the healthcare system who may be involved in these illegal activities.
